Chrissy and I went to high school together and it was great getting to catch up and see her two cuties. After taking a while off of portraits when I had my girls, I have really enjoyed getting back into them. I don't take a lot so I really enjoy each session I have the opportunity to do. It's been interesting over the years to see my style develop and to see what I love about photography itself. What I love is the ability to capture life. The fun stuff, laughter, special moments, emotion. You can see so much in a photograph. I think that's why I end up giving the clients 200 images and not just one. I don't think one perfect family picture can do it justice. It takes all the little moments. I know it's just an hour or so I get to spend with the family but I try to capture as much life in that short time that I can. I love what I do!! Thanks Chrissy and Derek for sharing your family and little glimpse of your life with me!! Enjoy!

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, I am not above bribery...I am a firm believer in it... Not just a sucker... a HUGE sucker :)
The wagon and trunk came from Tin Top in Hartselle. She has tons of new stuff every time I go in!! Pat says he's going to stop letting me borrow his truck when I go because I always come home with new "treasures" Check them out!
